Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website or enrolling in our courses at SeaSkills Maritime Academy.

Acceptance of Terms
- By accessing and using the SeaSkills Maritime Academy (Unit of SEASKILLS EDUCATION & RESEARCH TRUST) website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.
- We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Eligibility & Enrollment
- To enroll in our maritime training courses, you must meet the eligibility criteria specified for each course, including age requirements, educational qualifications, and medical fitness standards as mandated by DG Shipping.
- All information provided during registration and enrollment must be accurate and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation of enrollment without refund.
- Enrollment is subject to availability and confirmation by SeaSkills Maritime Academy (Unit of SEASKILLS EDUCATION & RESEARCH TRUST). Payment of fees does not guarantee a seat until confirmed by the academy.
- Students must carry valid identification documents and required certificates as specified during enrollment.

Course Fees & Payment
- Course fees must be paid in full before the commencement of the course unless a specific payment plan has been agreed upon in writing.
- All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
- Payment can be made through the approved payment methods available on our website. All online transactions are processed through secure payment gateways.
- Course fees are subject to change without prior notice. However, fees paid for confirmed enrollments will be honored.
- Additional charges may apply for hostel accommodation, examination fees, certification charges, or other ancillary services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the designated refund email address.
- Refunds are processed according to our Refund Policy, which outlines the refund schedule based on the timing of cancellation relative to course commencement.
- No refunds will be provided for no-shows or abandonment of courses after commencement.
- Processing of refunds may take 15-30 working days from the date of approval.

Attendance & Conduct
- Students are expected to maintain 100% attendance for all training sessions. Absence from classes may affect certification eligibility.
- Students must adhere to the academy's code of conduct, dress code, and safety regulations at all times.
- Any form of misconduct, harassment, violence, or violation of academy rules may result in immediate dismissal without refund.
- Students are responsible for their personal belongings. The academy is not liable for loss or damage to personal property.
- Use of mobile phones during training sessions is prohibited unless specifically permitted by the instructor.

Examination & Certification
- Students must successfully complete all course requirements and pass the prescribed examinations to receive certification.
- Examination schedules are determined by the academy and/or regulatory authorities. Students must appear for examinations on the scheduled dates.
- Re-examination fees may apply for students who fail to pass on the first attempt.
- Certificates are issued upon successful completion and are subject to verification by DG Shipping and relevant maritime authorities.
- The academy reserves the right to withhold certificates in case of pending fees or unresolved disciplinary matters.

Intellectual Property
- All content on this website, including text, images, logos, course materials, videos, and graphics, is the property of SeaSkills Maritime Academy (Unit of SEASKILLS EDUCATION & RESEARCH TRUST) and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- Course materials provided are for personal educational use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

- We are not responsible for delays or failures in service delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government regulations.
